Business Builder, Networker, and a man who always has a Plan B

Sajid, as he likes to be called, was always going to “go it alone” and build his own businesses.

Although he started a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Sajid knew at an early age he wanted to do his own thing. He was expelled for, as he puts it, “being notorious”

Sajid “colours outside the lines”, “thinks out of the box” and adds a unique angle to everything he is involved in. A determined, decisive doer!

With a initial passion to travel and initially being unable to start up on his own Sajid  worked as Assistant General Manager for 4 years effectively being paid to learn the travel industry travelling extensively throughout the world.

In 1999 Sajid started his own travel related business successfully building it until this year.

One of Sajids’ clients was Manish and with very similar “can do” attitudes and mutual respect it was only a question of time before they would work together on a project. That project was to be the Indian Property Show

Sajid is the quiet one of the team at Sumansa Events, rarely starting the fun, but when he does…it usually results in “tears” and aching sides from so much laughter.

Sajid’s single mindededness propels projects that he works on forward – he believes in other people and knows how to get the best out of them.

When asked about his education – Sajid’s said that he has graduated from the School of “hard knocks”!

Those close to him describe Sajid as humble, helpful and dependable.
